Jimmy Law
Staying in Cape Town, he found work as a freelance illustrator and did a lot of work in the comic book industry and all along he was painting in his spare time. In 2008 he decided to focus completely on his painting.

He also took up airbrushing and started spraying motorcycles of which were mostly Harley-Davidsons and some cars.

He was working in a photo realistic style and his paintings took forever to complete.

In December 2010 he radically changed the approach to his work by using only large brushes which initiated some remarkable changes and effectively started his career as a serious, full time artist. He focused on creating energetic and expressive portraits and nudes on a fairly large format in oils and acrylics.
